Activities

Yard games are available across the bridge, opposite of the garden.

Volleyball – There is a rope and ball in the valley for some volleying fun!

GAGA Ball – a variation of dodgeball played in an octagonal pit.

Badminton – Take your hand at keeping that birdie in the air.

Kickball – An old time favorite… kick that ball and round those bases!

and more…

Don’t have a bow & arrow or never shot one? Not a problem, we do and will teach you! Wild boar and white tail deer targets are across the creek, opposite the retreat site.

Safety Note: This activity is only accessible when attendant is available.

Have you ever thrown a tomahawk? Target logs are to the right of the stage.  Follow the mowed path and take your best shot. Safety Note: This activity is only accessible when attendant is available.

Tap into your creative brain as you illustrate scripture verses. Bible illustrating materials will be available for your use.

During your visit you can plan to ride the Mickelson Trail during on of our breaks or before or after the retreat.

Bike Rentals:

There are also two mountain bike trails that you can access close to the property.

The property is surrounded by national forest so you can go for a rugged hike in any direction.

Or plan a hike within Custer State park on any of the amazing trails they have there before or after the event.

Prayer is our most powerful weapon! Have a prayer need? We encourage everyone to pray with and for each other anywhere on site. However, we recognize that some may have a distinct need of privacy. For those times feel free to visit the prayer tent and a member of our prayer team will gladly join you in prayer.

A BGR favorite is our campfire circles.  This is the area where all formal activities will be held, but don’t be shy the circles are open for fellowship throughout the whole event.  From morning prayer and on until well after the final worship set.

Fires will be lit from 7am and are to be extinguished by 10pm for quite hours.
