BGR-chive 2024

2024 Black Granite Retreat

Dates: Aug. 28-Sept. 4, 2024

As always, this year’s retreat was an incredible experience that touched the lives of many. From the spirit-filled worship to the prophetic messages and powerful speakers, every moment of the retreat left a lasting impact on all who were in attendance.

We feel incredibly fortunate to be able to continue leading the retreat, and we are constantly inspired and motivated by the growth it experiences year after year. This simply wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and hard work of everyone involved, from our attendees to our volunteers.

Once again, thank you so much for making this year’s retreat a truly unforgettable event. We can’t wait to see what the future holds and hope to see you all again next year.

The Lord My Rock

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:2 (NASB)

This Year's Speakers:

Dustin Luper

Dustin’s spiritual journey is one of change and of abundant blessings. His youth was spent in an urban setting and his passion was skate boarding. As seasons changed in his life, he found himself on a ranch managing cattle, riding horses and fixing fence.
Now, along with his wife Lindsey, they raise three amazing sons who assist with ranch chores and ministry. Dustin teaches agriculture classes and coaches a collegiate rodeo team. Wherever he goes, he incorporates Biblical values into what he does and what he teaches. Many lives have been changed, and souls saved, due to Dustin following the Lord’s lead.

Message: “Taking Refuge through Intimacy”

How can I find God’s purpose for my life? God wants one thing… a relationship with YOU! Dustin ministers on the power of the written Word, prayer and our connection with God.

Patrick Baumann

While attending a Dough Stanton Ministries revival, Pat and his wife Ginger were baptized in the Holy Spirit. At that instant, their lives, goals and priorities changed forever. Since 2008, teaching, preaching and serving the Lord became their passion. Pat studied two years at Vineyard Institute and is now a licensed Pastor.

“We are honored to serve as God’s hands and His mouthpiece. Our prayer is that people see Him through us and that we always follow His lead.”

Message: “Horn of Salvation… PLUS”

Is God’s salvation message the only message we stand upon? Pat looks at salvation and other messages contained in the Bible. As His disciples in today’s world, we must use ALL of His truth.

Reverend Elijah Leong

Reverend Elijah presently pastors a house church in Singapore (Jesus’ Disciples Baptist Community Church). In 2010, the Lord enabled him and his wife, Mabel Snow Jade, to start an orphanage in Hyderabad, India, as well as a church-planting ministry there. By God’s grace, they hope to start many more orphanages and house churches throughout India and many parts of the world before the Lord Jesus returns.
Reverend Elijah gives glory and praises to his beloved Savior Jesus Christ, who has done for him far abundantly beyond all he could ask or think, as declared in Ephesians 3:20.

Message: “My Fortress of Freedom”

How can I find freedom and pass it along to others? Freedom comes in many forms. God wants us to be free spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. Elijah shares part of his testimony and inspires us to take action.
