Black Granite Retreat 2022

Body of Christ - Rise Up!

Memory Verse:

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it”  1 Corinthians 12:27

The 2022 retreat is hard to describe with words. With over 120 guests in attendance, it was the largest retreat we’ve had yet. God worked in awe-inspiring ways at BGR 2022. This year we were able to add another large campfire circle, a ministry team to cook meals, a powerful baptism service, and small group fellowship time. God continues to amaze us as He orchestrated another amazing worship team.  The body of Christ came together in powerful worship, prayer, and speaking the word over each other.  We broke bread daily, enjoying meals together, and had refreshing fellowship.  It was a powerful Spirit-filled time where we left free and filled, an indescribable time in His presence.

Below you will find a summary of the the retreat’s itinerary as well as details on the guest speakers and a photo gallery.

Speakers of 2022:

Pat Baumann

While attending a Doug Stanton Ministries revival, Pat and his wife Ginger, were baptized in the Holy Spirit.  At that instant, their lives, goals and priorities changed forever.  Increased hunger for the Lord resulted in their attending numerous Bible classes, conferences and revivals.  Teaching, preaching, and serving the Lord became their passion.  They’ve held numerous leadership and ministerial roles in several congregations during the past 13 years.

“We are honored to serve as God’s hands and His mouthpiece. Our prayer is that people see Him through us and… that we always follow His lead.”

Pastor Patrick Baumann, founder of Black Granite Retreat and Body of Christ Ministry, Custer, South Dakota.

Charity Ziolkowski

Born in Singapore and raised by Southern Baptist Pastors, Charity had roots in the faith.  She encountered Jesus in a deeper way after moving to Australia. There, she graduated with a Master’s of Theology and hungered for more of Holy Spirit.  In 2010 she moved to Redding, California to study at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry.  While there she met her husband, Gabe and after graduation, remained on staff at Bethel Church until they had their first son.  In 2016, they followed God’s call and moved to Australia where they were blessed to serve and pastor a local church. In 2020, God called them back to the United States.  They now reside in Custer, South Dakota where they are raising 3 boys, running a painting company, building their first home, and serving as leaders at Living Outreach Church.  Although both their fathers are pastors, they had been raised in two strikingly different cultures. This diversity, unified through God, in their marriage strengthens their ministry wherever God leads them. Charity and Gabe have a passion to speak “identity” into people’s lives, love seeing God transform lives, and His kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

Tim & Kim Jeleniowski

Tim and Kim knew from the beginning that they were joined together “by God’s grace and for His glory”. They were deeply connected and faithfully serving in their local church when, after 10 years of marriage, they felt a stirring in their spirits that God had more for them to do. Tim owned and operated 5th Day Adventures, a fishing charter company in SW Florida, and Kim was an instructional coach at their girls’ Christian school when the Lord began shifting their gears. After much prayer and seeking, He revealed things, led them to release things, confirmed things, and answered prayers as they pressed into what He was calling them to. He led them to sell everything and go! In a 30 ft. travel trailer with their 3 girls, they are now traveling the country as He leads; encouraging others in the faith and sharing the gospel with the lost. Tim and Kim are passionate about discipleship and helping others to walk in the fullness of Christ.
